i am so behind in my postings. a lot has been going on, including a beautiful yellow & martha stewart themed shower and many end of the school year surprises from my friends, coworkers, and second graders as well as lots of wedding-related shopping trips and appointments. i'll try to be more specific and include pics when i get a chance.

my life right now can pretty much be summed up by this quote from gilmore girls. this was in reference to lorelai's never ending to-do list. every time i feel the satisfaction of crossing something off my list, i find new things to do. i'm so overwhelmed with things to do @ work, things to do for the wedding, and things for my life in general.

i love our invitations. i had to hold myself back from posting on this blog, until i knew everyone received them. we went back and forth with many wonderful ideas, but ultimately decided on the boston skyline (including fenway park, of course). the response card has a trolley with a "please respond by.." trailing behind it since we are planning on having a trolley tour of the city in between the ceremony and the reception for all our out of town guests. i'm also smitten with the wrap-around labels on the envelopes just because they are so damn cool. thank you to elisabeth of black pearl press for putting my vision onto paper. she is such a pleasure to work with and it was so much fun to hear about her own plans for her upcoming barn wedding in vermont. i would totally recommend her for all your letter pressing needs.
i'll post actual pictures of my invitations soon. they're so much lovelier in person.
